Yadav noted that the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government honoured Sagar with the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and awarded him INR 1 crore after the last Olympic win. Reiterating the state’s commitment to supporting its athletes, Yadav announced that Sagar would receive another 1 crore as recognition for his contribution to the recent success.
