The attack was allegedly motivated by feelings of betrayal, with Yadav accusing Tasleem of cheating on him. A disturbing video of the incident shows Tasleem lying on the road, bleeding profusely, while bystanders failed to intervene. In the video, Yadav can be heard shouting, "She has cheated me.
