The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a Yellow Alert for Mumbai as the weather office predicted heavy rainfall in isolated areas of the city and suburbs on July 6. In its forecast, the IMD said heavy rainfall is likely in isolated places on Saturday. According to the IMD's seven-day forecast, minimum temperatures and light to moderate rainfall are expected to drop slightly throughout the week.
