Amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, NCP MP Supriya Sule of the Sharad Pawar faction on Sunday, October 22, said that no violence is justified. "What do wars achieve?" she asked. Speaking to the media in Pune, Supriya Sule said that our role as global citizens should be peace. "Whatever conflict is happening is extraordinary and is going to hurt everybody. All these things happening globally are going to hurt India's economy," she said. The NCP leader also said the government should call for a serious parliamentary session or an all-party leaders meeting on the same issue.
