Rajasthan Chief Minister on Friday, October 6, took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce that his government has added three new districts in the state. "According to public demand and the recommendation of a high-level committee, three new districts will be created in Rajasthan," CM Ashok Gehlot said.  The Congress government led by CM Ashok Gehlot has added three new districts, including Malpura, Sujangarh and Kuchaman City, to the state. The decision comes ahead of the assembly elections in the state. The total number of districts in the state now stands at 53.
