A disturbing video from Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi district shows a schoolgirl slitting her own throat multiple times with a shoemaker's needle. The shocking incident, captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media. The girl, a Class 9 student from a government school in Semariya tehsil, is in critical condition and undergoing treatment in the ICU of Sanjay Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital. While some reports suggest she attempted suicide over a failed love affair, others said she dis do over daily harassment by a stalker. Police are still investigating the reason. The video shows her picking up the needle from a cobbler's mat and stabbing herself repeatedly, despite efforts from a friend to stop her. Horrified locals rushed her to the hospital, where doctors provided initial care before transferring her to the specialty facility.
