Sukma Encounter: 5 Security Personnel Martyred, 12 Inured in Gunfight With Naxals at Sukma-Bijapur Border in Chhattisgarh
Five security personnel were martyred in an encounter with Naxals at Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh. A body of woman naxal was also recovered from the encounter site. An emergency meeting of DGP DM Awasthi, Special DG (Anti-Naxal Operations) Ashoke Juneja and other officers took place in Raipur to discuss the security situation in the area.
