Senior Rajasthan IAS officer Gayatri Rathore sparked controversy after a video surfaced showing her making an inappropriate comment to unemployed youth. When approached by job seekers from the Urban Transport Board (UTB) with their appeals, Rathore, who serves as Additional Chief Secretary, reportedly responded, “Sarkar Se pooch kar Paida Hue The.. (Did you ask the government before being born?)”. The video of the exchange has gone viral on social media, attracting criticism. Jaipur MLA Balmukund Aacharya condemned Rathore’s statement, describing it as unbecoming of a senior official. He urged an investigation into the video and called for action against Rathore, saying that such conduct from a public servant is unacceptable.
