UP Shocker: Liquor Salesman Thrashes Customer With Stick in Farrukhabad After Dispute Over Online Payment, Police Launch Probe After Video Goes Viral

A video is doing rounds on social media where a liquor salesman was seen badly thrashing a customer with stick over an online payment. According to reports, the customers went to the liquor shop, purchased some liquor bottles, and made payments online, but the salesman did not receive the amount, which made him angry. Fatehgarh police said that the incident has been reported on December 30, when three people who were already in a drunk state came to purchase English liquor from the shop. A heated argument broke out between the salesman and the customer. A nearby cop witnessed the scene and rushed to the spot in order to solve the matter. Police said that action has been taken against drunk customers as per the law. Further investigation is underway.
