Farmer Bijendra and his family were asleep when loud hissing woke them around 5 a.m. His wife turned on the lights but saw nothing. Their son later spotted the cobra with its hood raised near a wall. Terrified, the entire family — including children and daughter-in-law — ran outside. Neighbors gathered as panic spread. Forest officials were alerted, but courageous villagers managed to capture the snake before the team arrived and later released it into the forest. The family remains traumatised.
