The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday, February 4 said that dense to very dense fog conditions are likely during morning/night hours at isolated/ few places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, plains of northwest India and west Madhya Pradesh till Friday, February 6. IMD further said that under the influence of two Western Disturbances, isolated to scattered rainfall/snowfall is likely over Western Himalayan region on February 5 and 6 and February 9 and 10, respectively. That said, the weather forecasting service Windy has not predicted any rainfall in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru for today, February 5. Similarly, no rainfall warning has been issued for Hyderabad, Kolkata and Shimla for Thursday.
