The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday, May 9, said that a fresh spell of isolated to scattered thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (40-60 kmph) is likely over northwest India during May 11 to 14. The weather agency further said that heat wave conditions are likely at isolated places over West Rajasthan and Gujarat state between May 9-15 and over West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan on May 12 and 13. "Warm night conditions likely to prevail in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan during 10th-14th May," IMD stated. The weather agency also said that hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over Konkan and Goa on May 10. That said, the weather forecasting service Windy has not predicted any rainfall in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Shimla for today, May 10.
