Five people were reported dead, and 25-30 others were injured after a goods train rammed into the Sealdah-bound Kanchanjungha Express from behind in West Bengal. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, as reported by Abhishek Roy, Additional SP of Darjeeling Police. The collision, which occurred near New Jalpaiguri on Monday morning, June 17, prompted an emergency response from the concerned authorities. Emergency responders are attending to the accident site.
