There are several Indian recipes that features seafood. However, the one that made it to the Taste Atlas list was the Bengali delicacy Chingri Malai Curry. Chingri Malai Curry is a flavourful prawn curry, where prawns are simmered in coconut milk along with some traditional masalas. The dish is cooked until the gravy becomes thick and creamy. Chingri Malai Curry was ranked 31st. Taste Atlas’ list of the 50 Best Seafood Dishes in the World was topped by Camarones Enchipotlados, a shrimp delicacy from Mexico, followed by Kaisendon from Japan and Pempek from Indonesia as 2nd and 3rd rank, respectively. You can pair Chingri Malai Curry with steamed rice.
