Nature lovers and sky watchers across various parts of the world were treated to not one but two spectacles. The Perseid meteor shower was all set to light up the sky on Sunday night. However, all those who waited in anticipation of witnessing the phenomenon were treated to not one but two breathtaking spectacles. The first one is the Perseid meteor shower and the second one is the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. Netizens captured several images of the Northern Lights. While some managed to capture stunning images of the sky painted in brilliant hues of purple and green, others were lucky to capture the Perseid meteor shower against the brilliantly lit sky.
