People witnessed a visual deight this weekend with a Perseid Meteor Shower. The best-known meteor shower peaked late Sunday night and offered dazzling visuals to the people. People enjoyed the spectacular view between midnight and dawn when the meteor activity was at its highest and the sky was at its darkest. Several skygazers captured the celestial event, and they shared the pictures and videos of the same on X(formally known as Twitter). Letโs take a look at some of them.

Northern Lights Syncing With Perseid Meteor Shower
GOTCHA! With the prospect of the northern lights syncing up with the Perseid meteor shower, my goal this weekend was to capture both in the same shot. Mission accomplished. pic.twitter.com/NwnfeNv7vT

Amazing!
Perseid meteor shower peaks tonight, Sunday 8/11, so I shot a time lapse last night to see if I see any. The majority of the bright streaks are airplanes, but there were a couple meteors. The time lapse, looking east, goes from 9:30pm last night to 8am this morning. #nightsky pic.twitter.com/s9jpYdOcn3
