Kerala-based hepatologist Dr Cyriac Abby Philips's 'X' account was withheld on Thursday. Popular in the online medical community as 'The Liver Doctor', Dr Philips's account has been "withheld globally in response to a legal demand." A Bengaluru civil court passed an ex-parte injunction order on September 24 to X to suspend the account of Dr Abby Philips (@theliverdr), in a case filed by Himalaya Wellness Corporation, which alleged that the expert made defamatory allegations against the company.
