The shooter added to India's growing medal tally with another silver. This was also the first silver medal for India in this event.
India's shooters continued to shine in Hangzhou with Anant Jeet Singh Naruka bagging the silver medal in men's shotgun skeet event at the Asian Games 2023 on September 27. He scored 58/60 to settle for second place in this event behind Kuwait's Abdullah Al-Rashidi, who scored a perfect 60. He also won a bronze a part of the skeet team.
