Arjun Erigaisi Dmitry Andreikin in the fifth round of the European Chess Club Cup 2024 and crossed the 2800 ELO Rating mark. At 21, the star became the youngest and only the second Indian to achieve this feat.
It was expected from the chess master of India as Arjun Erigaisi needed less than a point to cross the 2800 ELO rating barrier. Representing team Alkaloid, Arjun faced Russia's Dmitry Andreikin in the fifth round of the European Chess Club Cup 2024, and with a massive win the star created history. Arjun Erigaisi now has a 2802.1 rating and has moved up to the World No. 3 in the live rating list.
