Not like the last Sunday or Wednesday, yet India had a pretty good outing on Day 12 of the Asian Games 2023 where they won 5 medals and ensured a few others entering the business end of the competition. They are now consolidated at the 4th position with 86 medals and 21 gold medals. China still tops the tally with 333 medals and 179 gold medals. Japan and Republic of Korea having a close battle in terms of medal tally but Japan leads comfortably in gold medals 44 to 33.
