Afghanistan have now qulified for the Super Eight stage after a seven-wicket win over Papua New Guinea. Fazalhaq Farooqi came up with another special performance and is going good and also won another Man of the Match award.
Gulbadin Naib with a six sailed off Afghanistan to a seven-wicket win and with that win, they have now qualified for the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. PNG were restricted to 95 runs and were bowled out in 19.5 overs. Fazahaq Farooqi completed his three-wicket haul and Naveen-ul-Haq scalped a couple of wickets which helped him complete his 50 wickets in T20Is. While chasing Afghanistan had a bit of a difficult start but Gulbadin Naib stepped up and won the match for his team.
