Afghanistan Squad Announced: Hashmatullah Shahidi to Lead Afghans in Upcoming ODI Series Against South Africa
Star spinner Rashid Khan to return from injury as ACB (Afghanistan Cricket Board) announces team for ODI series against South Africa. Hashmatullah Shahidi will lead the experienced squad.
The Afghanistan National Cricket Team will host the South Africa National Cricket Team for the ODI series starting on September 18. Afghanistan Cricket Board announced the squad handing Hashmatullah Shahidi captaincy of the experienced squad. Rashid Khan, who missed their previous ODI series against Ireland because of an injury will be back in action while Gulbadin Naib and Mohammad Nabi also feature in a heavily experienced squad. Afghanistan will host South Africa for the first time.
