New Zealand Beat South Africa in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 final to win their first World Cup trophy. The side celebrated the win with a Maori song as Amelia Kerr took center stage with a guitar and the rest of the team sang the song.

The New Zealand Women’s National Cricket Team won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 204 defeating the South Africa Women’s National Cricket Team by 32 runs at the Dubai International Stadium in UAE. This is the country’s first World Cup trophy and the team celebrated the win by singing a Maori song after the trophy ceremony. Amelia Kerr played a guitar and the rest of the team provided chorus.
