A comprehensive victory for Pakistan in the opening encounter of the Asia Cup 2023 against Nepal as the produce all-round performance to clinch a 238-run victory. Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first and put up a massive total of 342 runs on the board thanks to the centuries from Babar Azam (151) and Iftikhar Ahmed (109*). Nepal never got off to a good start as Shaheen Shah Afridi broke their top order striking twice in the first over. Later Shadab Khan came on and cleaned up the Nepal tail with a four-wicket haul.
