In a major development, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah has announced massive financial rewards for players competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Shah, in a post on social media, made the announcement that players will receive a sum of Rs 7.5 lakh as match fee per game. Those who go on to play all the matches of a season will receive Rs 1.05 crores, apart from the amount with which the player has been contracted. Not just this, but the IPL franchises will also allocate Rs 12.60 crores as match fees for the upcoming edition of the IPL.
