Chinelle Henry suffered a blow to her face after she attempted to take Amelia Kerr's catch and missed it, during the WI-W vs NZ-W semifinal match in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 on October 18. This incident happened in the 12th over of the first innings when Amelia Kerr played a powerful pull shot on the leg side with the ball heading straight to Chinelle Henry, who attempted to take the catch. However, the ball slipped between her hands and landed right on her head. Chinelle Henry went down on the ground and was escorted off the field. Fortunately for West Indies, Amelia Kerr was dismissed off the very next ball.
