Complaint Against Pakistan Cricketer Mohammad Rizwan by Indian Lawyer For Praying Namaz During Cricket World Cup 2023
The lawyer in his notice to ICC called Rizwan's act as an intentional depiction of religion which goes against the spirit of cricket. He also raised questions on the ideology.
Pakistan have till now played three matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. They have secured wins against Netherlands and Sri Lanka, but lost to India by a big margin. Mohammad Rizwan has been one of their mainstays but he might land in trouble after an Indian lawyer filed a complaint against him to ICC for offering Namaz at the field during Pakistan's first match against Netherlands.
