Former Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi did not hold back as he lashed out at the Asian Cricket Council over its decision to pick Sri Lanka as one of the venues for the Asia Cup 2023 tournament, after the IND vs PAK match was washed out on September 2. Sethi took X, formerly Twitter to reveal that he had initially suggested UAE as the alternate venue for the tournament but as per him, "poor excuses" were made to have the competition in Sri Lanka.
