Virat Kohli entertained the audience at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium as he scored a 48th ODI hundred and led India to a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Bangladesh in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on October 19. However, a rare thing of Kohli denying singles when he was nearing his century, was seen and this has left a section of fans disappointed. The right-hander eventually completed his hundred with a six that sealed India the win. Later on, KL Rahul, who was batting with Kohli at the other end, revealed that it was he who denied singles to Kohli for him to get to his century. Some fans felt Kohli was 'selfish' in getting to his milestone.
