Both India and Pakistan would be raring to open their points account after losing their opening matches. According to information from Birmingham, the drizzle has not stopped yet.
Rain played spoilsport as it led to the toss between India's and Pakistan's match being delayed. The Group A fixture was set to have its toss at 3:00 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) with the match starting off at 3:30 pm IST (Indian Standard Time). However, the heavens opened up right before the toss and hence it was delayed.
