India win T20I series as the India vs Ireland third T20I at Malahide gets washed out due to rain without a ball being bowled.
The wait goes in vain as the umpires decide to call the 3rd T20I between India off as there are plenty of damp patches on the outfield. The rain stopped in the end and covers also came off but it was only for the inspection which concluded the match to be abandoned without a ball played. With this India bag the rain curtailed three-match series 2-0.
