New Zealand become the second team to qualify from Group A as they defeat Pakistan Women in the final Group Stage encounter and knock out India from the competition.
New Zealand Women have now officially qualified for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 semifinals. They have defeated Pakistan Woman by 54-runs and secured their ticket to the last four. With this result, India Women are now knocked out of the competition. New Zealand Women batted first and didn't find much rhythm on the crease. Suzie Bates and Brooke Halliday took them to a competitive score of 110/6. Pakistan Women had to chase the score down in 10.4 overs to qualify so they went for it. Although things didn't go their way at all as they kept losing wickets and despite landing a few shots here and there crumbled for just 56 runs.
