Jake Fraser-McGurk suffered an injury to his groin area after sustaining a blow off Trent Boult's bowling during the DC vs RR match in IPL 2024 on May 7. Boult, who came round the wicket in the first over, bowled a full-length delivery and the ball went on to hit McGurk right in the box after he missed while playing it on the leg-side. The young Australian cricketer went down in pain and was attended to by the physio. However, he recovered and was alright to continue. McGurk smashed a 19-ball fifty before being dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin.
