Playing in his first Indian Premier League Season, Jake Fraser-Mcgurk has made his mark on the league. In a recent match against Mumbai Indians, his knock proved to be the decisive one to win the game for his side.
Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in match number 43 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Batting first DC scored 257 runs with the help of Jake Fraser-McGurk’s blistering 84 runs of just 27 deliveries. The Australian opener provided a perfect start to the home side on which DC set a massive target of 258 runs in front of MI. The visitors also did try their best with Tilak Verma scoring a half-century and Hardik Pandya clicking at the right moment with the bat for his side. But their efforts fell just 10 runs short of the target. Jake Fraser-McGurk won the Man of The Match award for his contribution to the win.
