Mehidy Hasan Miraz came up with a heartwarming gesture when he said he would gift his Man of the Series award to the family of a rickshaw puller who died during the recent student-led protests in Bangladesh. Bangladesh registered their first-ever Test series win over Pakistan with a 2-0 sweep in Rawalpindi. The Asian nation saw weeks of tumult where students protested for the removal of quota for civil service jobs, which culminated in the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Several lives were lost in the violence and Miraz, in a noble move, decided to give his Man of the Series award to the rickshaw puller's family. While speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Mehidy said, "You all know that recently there's been troubleBangladesh. I want to dedicate this Man of the Series Award to the people who passed away during the protest. There was one rickshaw puller who was injured and later on passed away.
