Despite valiant fight by David Wiese at the end, Namibia failed to chase the target set by UAE and thus helping Netherlands qualify for the Super 12 stage. The Men in Orange were waiting anxiously for the result to fall in their favour after losing their last game against Sri Lanka.
Netherlands cricket team players were seen celebrating in dressing room after UAE defeated Namibia in the last match of Group A. After getting beaten by Sri Lanka in the first game of the day, Netherlands had to wait for the result of the Namibia vs UAE game result, as an UAE win would have made them qualify.
