Pakistan Cricketers Start Training Session in India Ahead of ICC World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Match Against New Zealand (See Pics)
Pakistan will play their second warm-up game against Australia on October 3, followed by the start of their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign against the Netherlands on October 6 at the same venue. This was the first time that Pakistan cricket team has visited India since the 2016 T20 World Cup.
The first practice session for the Pakistan Cricket Team in India was held on Thursday morning at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Since landing in India for the ICC World Cup 2023, they have only participated in one training session as they prepare to face New Zealand in a warm-up match on Friday. Captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Wasim Junior, Mohammad Haris, and Zaman Khan actively participated in the training session.
