Punjab Kings have registered the highest successful run-chase in T20 cricket history as they scaled down 262 against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024 on April 26. This was made possible mostly because of a Jonny Bairstow hundred with the Englishman smashing 108* off just 48 deliveries with eight fours and nine sixes. Prabhsimran Singh (54 off 20) and Shashank Singh (68* off 28 balls) were also among the runs. The previous highest was by South Africa chasing down 269/4 against West Indies in 2023.
