Sai Kishore, Washington Sundar Shine As India Restrict Bangladesh to 96/9 in Asian Games 2023 Semifinal
The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side have given themselves a great chance of entering the final of the event. If India win this match, a silver medal would be assured atleast.
Sai Kishore continued to impress in Asian Games 2023 and Washington Sundar too chipped in with his contribution as India restricted Bangladesh to a meagre 96/9 in the men's cricket semifinal on October 6. Kishore took three wickets and conceded just. Runs off his four overs while Washington Sundar bagged a couple. Apart from them, Arshdeep Singh, Tilak Varma, Ravi Bishnoi and debutant Shahbaz Ahmed also bagged a wicket apiece. For Bangladesh, the top scorer was Jaker Ali, who scored 24 runs.
