Scotland's George Munsey completed a memorable achievement of his career as he completed 2000 runs in T20Is, during the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match against Australia on June 16. The left-hander is known for his aggression right at the top and now has become just the second Scotland player to get to the mark, after captain Richie Berrington. Munsey scored 35 runs off 23 balls, with two fours and three sixes, as Scotland finished with 180/5 against Australia after being put to bat first.
