After a disappointing elimination from the ICC T20 World Cup 2023 group stages, South Africa look to return strong in the upcoming ODI World Cup. Now they announce their 15-member squad for the mega event.
After India, South Africa have also announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World 2023 in October. No major surprises in the team except for the exclusion of veteran left arm seamer Wayne Parnell. Parnell is reportedly nursing a shoulder injury and has been replaced by young pace sensation Gerlad Coetzee. Reeza Hendricks was included as well despite South Africa going in with a bowling heavy squad.
