Sri Lanka scalped a historic win against India on Wednesday as they defeated the men in blue by 110 runs in the third and final ODI match to secure the first series victory against them in last 27 years. Since the first match of the series got tied, they won the series 2-0. Sri Lanka batted first in the game and riding on the 95-run innings from Avisha Fernando, they posted a total of 248/7. Chasing it, like it happened throughout the series, India suffered a batting collapse and despite Washington Sundar's lower order resistance, wrapped up for 138 runs.
