Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs to enter the IPL 2024 final, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on May 24. Batting first, a resilient batting performance led by Heinrich Klaasen helped Sunrisers Hyderabad post 175/9. Rahul Tripathi (37 off 15 balls) and Travis Head (34 off 28 balls) were the other contributors to the total. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad bounced back with the ball in hand as they struck regularly. Shahbaz Ahmed was the standout performer with the ball in hand for Sunrisers Hyderabad with figures of 3/23 in his four overs. Abhishek Sharma (2/24), Pat Cummins (1/30) and T Natarajan (1/13), were the other wicket-takers. With this win, Pat Cummins and his men have booked a ticket to the IPL 2024 final, where they face Kolkata Knight Riders on May 26.
