Tom Latham made the most of an extremely wayward delivery from Agha Salman and hit it for a four during the Pakistan vs New Zealand ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up match on September 29. The off-spinner's delivery bounced twice as it went down the leg side but Latham did not let it pass as it is, utilising the freebie and smacking it for a boundary through the fine-leg region. Latham eventually ended up scoring 18 runs off 13 balls with New Zealand chasing down 346 in just 43.4 overs to beat Pakistan with five wickets remaining.
