Kohli reached his 28,000th international run during the ongoing IND vs NZ 1st ODI 2026, which was his 624th innings, while Tendulkar and Sangakkara took 644 and 666, respectively. Out of 28,000 in international cricket, Kohli has 9230 Test, 4188 T20I, and 14594 ODI runs, respectively. FYI, Kohli is just the third batter to surpass 28,000 international runs.
