Indian Men's Cricket team went to the Asian Games 2023 with the hopes of delivering a gold medal for the nation and they have done exactly that when the final against Afghanistan got washed out due to rain and due to higher seeding India were awarded a gold medal. India defeated Nepal in the quarterfinal and Bangladesh in the semifinal to make it to the final.
