India won Gold Medals in the Open and Womenâs categories for the first time as both teams topped their respective points tables at the end of round 11. Celebrating the wins, D Gukesh and Tania Sachdev recreated Rohit Sharma and Lionel Messiâs iconic trophy celebrations.
It was clearly a âWorld Cup of Chess Team eventsâ and the Gold medal-winning Indian Teams celebrated the win in style. Both D Gukesh and Tania Sachdev â representing respective Teams recreated Lionel Messi and Rohit Sharmaâs âChampions Walkâ as they presented trophies to the Teams.
