47-year-old Floyd Mayweather Jr. overcame John Gotti III’s challenge with ease as the star registered 80-72 win in Mexico City. Interestingly, the former star requested change of referee following a controversial decision.
Floyd Mayweather Jr took on John Gotti III in an exhibition match in Mexico City and easily defeated the 31-year-old young boxer. Even though the win was not a trademark Mayweather win, he held the points advantage right from the start and went on to clinch 80-72 victory. Because the fight was an exhibition, it was not officially scored. But Mayweather dominated Gotti. He was able to hit Gotti with relative ease and connected plenty.
