Al-Hilal routed Al-Ettifaq 3-1 in Saudi Pro League 2024-25, reclaiming the top spot in the points table. Al-Hilal have a one-point lead over Al-Ittihad, who are second with 27 points.
Al-Hilal gained back the top spot in Saudi Pro League 2024-25 points table, after notching up a clinical victory over Al-Ettifaq at Kingdom Arena. This victory puts the Jorge Jesus-managed side one point ahead of Al-Ittihad, who occupy the second spot. For Al-Hilal Aleksandar Mitrovic opened the scoring, slamming a first-half goal. Malcom doubled Al-Hilal's lead, but Al-Ettifaq managed to hit their first off of the match via plenty. Mohammed Al-Qahtani scored the third and final goal for Al-Hilal sealing the match for Riyadh-based club. Sadly, for Al-Hilal Salem AlDawsari suffered an ankle injury, which could put him on the bench for a while.
