Nine Men Al-Hilal team defeated Cristiano Ronaldo and the Al-Nassr side in the King Cup of Champions final to complete a domestic treble in the season. The match finished level on goals in regular time and needed a penalty shootout.
Al-Hilal defeated Al-Nassr 5-4 on penalties in the King Cup of Champions 2024 final. Aleksandar Mitrovic broke the deadlock in the seventh minute of the match for Al-Hilal. The side led 1-0 till the closing minutes of the match. But Ayman Yahya equalized for Al-Nassr heading a long throw-in. The scoreline remained the same even after the extra time and needed a penalty shoot-out to settle the winner. Although Cristiano Ronaldo and other stars scored penalties in the shoot-out, Meshari Al-Nemer missed a penalty handing Al-Hilal a win against their arch-rivals. With the King Cup of Champions title, the Al-Hilal side completes a domestic treble.
